Data Science Trainer

The Data Science Trainer will be responsible for delivering instructor-led training sessions covering various data science topics to learners at different skill levels. This role involves planning and structuring lessons, preparing teaching materials, designing exercises and projects, and assessing learner performance through assignments, quizzes, and feedback. The trainer will provide one-on-one support to learners, address conceptual and technical challenges, and tailor teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Islamabad, Pakistan, requiring close collaboration with the training team to refine curriculum content and uphold high instructional standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging instructor-led training sessions on data science topics to learners with varying expertise.
- Plan and organize lesson structures, including course content, learning objectives, and assessment methods.
- Develop teaching materials, exercises, and projects that facilitate practical application of data science concepts.
- Evaluate learner progress through assignments, quizzes, and continuous feedback.
- Provide personalized guidance and support to learners, addressing both conceptual and technical difficulties.
- Adapt instructional approaches to meet the needs of diverse learning styles and backgrounds.
- Collaborate regularly with the training team to update and improve curriculum and instructional quality.
- Maintain a professional and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and growth.

Required Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Science Education, with the ability to relate data science principles to scientific thinking and analysis.
- Background in Physics and Mathematics to effectively teach statistics, modeling, and quantitative problem-solving.
- Experience as a qualified teacher or instructor, demonstrating classroom management and learner engagement skills.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, including course structuring, setting clear learning objectives, and creating assessments.
- Practical knowledge of core data science tools and concepts, such as Python or R, data analysis, and machine learning fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex ideas in clear and accessible language.
- Proven ability to mentor and support learners from diverse backgrounds in a professional, respectful, and inclusive manner.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in training, teaching, or corporate education, preferably within technical or analytical domains.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite in Islamabad, Pakistan.
