Arcana Info is seeking a skilled Database Developer to join their team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance database solutions. This role requires a focus on ensuring data integrity, security, and reliability across various database environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect both logical and physical data models for relational and hierarchical databases.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, PL/SQL packages, libraries, functions, triggers, and views to enhance database performance.
- Implement data security measures including encryption, role-based access control (RBAC), least-privilege access, and data masking or anonymization for sensitive information.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows to facilitate efficient data movement between applications, databases, and data warehouses.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle, SQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with database design principles including normalization, performance tuning, and indexing.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, ETL processes, and version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or MongoDB is considered an advantage.
