Delivery Rider

TCS Private Limited, a leading courier, logistics, and e-commerce provider in Pakistan, is seeking a dedicated Delivery Rider to join its team in Lahore. With a vast network of over 900 outlets across 380 cities and a fleet of more than 600 satellite-tracked vehicles, TCS ensures reliable and timely delivery services nationwide. The company operates its own Boeing-737 aircraft and offers international logistics solutions to over 3,500 destinations worldwide. The Delivery Rider will play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s commitment to service quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect parcels from designated locations and deliver them safely and promptly according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures from customers to confirm receipt.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and cash-on-delivery transactions when applicable.
- Handle parcels with care, ensuring no damage during transit.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety standards to promote a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with customers at each delivery point.
- Keep the delivery vehicle in good working condition and promptly report any mechanical or operational issues to the supervisor.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and maintain punctuality throughout the workday.

Required Qualifications
- Strong navigation and route planning skills, including familiarity with Lahore’s local areas and proficiency in using basic maps or GPS devices.
- Valid motorcycle or vehicle driving license as per local regulations, with demonstrated safe driving or riding skills.
- Effective communication and customer service abilities to engage professionally with customers and team members.
- Reliability, punctuality, and excellent time management skills to handle delivery schedules effectively.
- Physical fitness to lift, carry, and handle parcels throughout the work shift.
- Basic record-keeping skills for maintaining delivery logs and confirmations.
- Minimum education level of secondary school; higher education is considered an advantage.
