Key Responsibilities
- Ensure strict compliance with all corporate directives, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and management instructions related to Occupational Health & Safety and store security.
- Oversee and continuously improve security measures addressing shoplifting, theft, pilferage, robbery, fraud, trespassing, vandalism, and other criminal activities that could impact store interests.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and security concerns, reporting findings and developing proactive solutions to support store operations.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with the Regional Manager Security and Store Manager regarding any incidents or activities that may undermine corporate interests.
- Manage deployment, duty rosters, shift scheduling, and attendance monitoring of third-party security personnel to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
- Identify gaps in operational SOPs related to security, report these issues, and propose effective remedial or corrective actions.
- Coordinate closely with third-party service providers on all security-related matters to ensure seamless service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a graduation degree is required.
- Proven experience in managing security operations within a retail or wholesale environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and security protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal management and external service providers.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures proactively.
