Deputy General Manager – Quality Assurance (DGM QA)

An established engineering products manufacturing company located in Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi, is seeking a highly experienced managerial professional to join their team. The role offers a competitive gross monthly salary of PKR 350,000 and involves working from Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The position requires hands-on involvement in managing manufacturing operations within a reputable organization, preferably in the automotive sector, ensuring adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage manufacturing operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain compliance with ISO 9000:2015 standards and support the application of IATF 16949 requirements.
- Drive process improvements and problem-solving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Mentor and lead teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure effective communication across departments and with external partners.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from NED University is mandatory.
- Over 15 years of managerial experience in a reputable manufacturing organization, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 9000:2015 standards and working knowledge of IATF 16949.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven team leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Reasonable command of spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

The company offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and professional growth of its employees.
