We are seeking an experienced professional to lead CNC programming, tooling strategy, and production planning within our precision machining operations. This role serves as a critical link between design intent and shop-floor execution, focusing on optimizing CAM programs to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and tool longevity while supporting daily production goals. The level of seniority—Deputy Manager or Manager—will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, technical expertise, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and validate CNC programs using CAM software for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining operations.
- Analyze part drawings and CAD models to create efficient machining strategies.
- Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and fixturing to maximize productivity and ensure high-quality parts.
- Troubleshoot machining challenges on the shop floor and provide real-time programming support to operators.
- Collaborate with production planning teams to sequence jobs, estimate cycle times, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing cycle times, scrap rates, and tool wear.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive library of CAM programs, tool libraries, and process documentation.
- Coordinate with quality assurance and R&D teams on new part development and first-article inspections.
- Mentor and train junior programmers and operators on CAM best practices.
- For Manager-level candidates: supervise a team of CAM programmers and operators, taking full ownership of CAM department deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

*Deputy Manager (3–5 years experience)*
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent technical diploma.
- Practical experience in CNC programming and proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidCAM, Creo, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes including milling, turning, and multi-axis operations, along with GD&T and tooling selection.

*Manager (6–10 years experience)*
- All qualifications listed for Deputy Manager, plus demonstrated experience in leading a CAM/programming team.
- Proven track record in process improvement and ownership of production planning activities.
- Ability to independently interface with senior management and collaborate across multiple departments.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a precision machining or tool & die manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply through professional networking platforms or submit their updated CV with the subject line “Application – Deputy Manager/Manager Production (CAM).”

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and leadership drive operational excellence and innovation in precision machining.
