Nayyer Industries (Private) Limited is seeking a skilled and proactive Deputy Manager – Import & Export to oversee and coordinate all aspects of import and export operations. The role involves managing shipment processes, customs clearance, documentation, banking procedures, and trade compliance. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Pakistan Customs procedures, WeBOC system, international trade documentation, payment terms, Incoterms, and shipment management. Experience within the manufacturing or textile industry will be an advantage. This position is based in Lahore, Pakistan, and reports directly to the Manager – Import & Export.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily import and export operations, ensuring timely shipment completion.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate import/export documentation and records.
- Coordinate with banks, clearing agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Handle Import GD and Export GD processes, including customs clearance through WeBOC.
- Ensure proper documentation such as Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and other relevant trade documents.
- Coordinate and follow up on international payment terms including LC, TT, DA/DP.
- Monitor shipment schedules, delivery timelines, customs clearance, and cargo movement.
- Apply correct HS Codes, customs duties, taxes, and tariff classifications.
- Implement international Incoterms such as FOB, CFR, CIF, EXW, etc.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-up on pending documentation and shipments.
- Identify and resolve operational issues related to shipments, customs, documentation, and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies.
- Prepare reports and maintain shipment-related data using MS Excel and MS Office.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in import and export operations.
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, documentation, and international payment terms (LC, TT, DA/DP).
- Hands-on experience with Pakistan Customs procedures and WeBOC system.
- Proficient understanding of Import GD/Export GD and shipping documentation.
- Familiarity with HS Codes, customs duties, taxes, and tariff classifications.
- Knowledge of international Incoterms including FOB, CFR, CIF, EXW.
- Excellent coordination skills with banks, clearing agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet strict delivery and clearance deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on business correspondence.
- Excellent documentation, record-keeping, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple shipments simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience in the manufacturing or textile industry is highly preferred. Candidates with practical experience in WeBOC, customs clearance, banking documentation, and handling international shipments will be given priority.

Nayyer Industries offers a competitive salary package ranging from Rs145,000 to Rs180,000 per month. The role provides an opportunity to work in a professional, growth-oriented environment with a focus on career development. The position requires in-person attendance at the Lahore office.
