Deputy Manager Investment Management

The Deputy Manager – Investment Management will play a crucial role in supporting the Lead Investment Management function within the organization. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in asset management companies, brokerage houses, or investment management divisions of life insurance firms. The role involves managing fund performance, conducting research, coordinating placements with fund managers, and handling related accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the company’s investment portfolio management in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in performing financial analysis, market research, and investment evaluations to identify opportunities and risks.
- Prepare regular reports detailing portfolio performance, asset allocation, and market trends to inform decision-making.
- Coordinate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate investment-related activities and data collection.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of investment transactions to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
- Provide analytical support for strategic investment decisions, offering insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Investments, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in investment management, asset management, or financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, regulatory frameworks, and various investment products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
