We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Management professional to join our team within a large industrial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with environmental standards and regulations, driving continuous improvement in environmental performance, and supporting sustainable industrial operations. This position requires a hands-on approach to managing environmental management systems, conducting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize environmental risks and impacts.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and maintain environmental management systems in accordance with recognized standards such as ISO 14001.
- Conduct internal audits, manage documentation control, and lead management review processes to ensure compliance and continual improvement.
- Assess environmental impacts and risks associated with industrial processes, particularly within paper, packaging, or related manufacturing sectors.
- Analyze environmental data, prepare reports, and utilize relevant software tools to track and communicate performance indicators.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams on-site to address environmental issues and integrate best practices.
- Deliver training sessions, awareness programs, and presentations to various stakeholders to promote environmental responsibility.
- Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic industrial setting, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of environmental management systems, including ISO 14001 standards, and regulatory compliance requirements relevant to industrial operations.
- Proven experience in internal auditing, documentation control, and conducting management reviews within environmental or quality management frameworks.
- Familiarity with industrial processes in paper, packaging, or similar manufacturing sectors, with the ability to evaluate environmental risks and impacts.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of software tools for monitoring environmental performance.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in a large industrial facility, collaborating with diverse teams and managing competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to conduct training, awareness initiatives, and stakeholder reporting.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as an environmental or management representative in an industrial context.
