Deputy Manager Procurement

Hi TECH Machinery is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager – Procurement to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international procurement, global sourcing, and supplier management, particularly within the machinery and industrial equipment sectors. This role requires expertise in import procurement and handling complex supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of machinery, molds, and related components.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage international sourcing of plastic, packaging, filling-line machinery, and molds.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quotations, pricing, quality, and commercial terms.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.
- Oversee technical coordination and mold development in collaboration with international suppliers.
- Review supplier drawings and coordinate approvals, trials, testing, and sample development.
- Resolve technical issues to ensure machinery and molds meet customer requirements.
- Handle after-sales support, warranty issues, and replacement orders with suppliers.
- Support the Sales team with customer inquiries, quotations, proposals, and ongoing projects.
- Lead the Procurement team and coordinate with Sales, Technical departments, and suppliers to ensure timely execution of procurement activities.

Required Qualifications
- 6 to 8 years of experience in international procurement.
- Strong knowledge of machinery, industrial equipment, and spare parts.
- Proven expertise in international sourcing and supplier negotiation.
- Experience in import procurement and OEM/vendor management.
- Excellent communication and commercial negotiation skills.
- 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience managing procurement teams.

The position is based in Lahore, specifically in DHA Phase 8 near Ex Park View. This is an in-person role requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams and international suppliers.
