Accrescent Engineers (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a Deputy Manager Projects – BTD to oversee and manage busbar trunking system installations and project execution at their Multan site. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of relevant experience and a strong background in electrical engineering. This role demands hands-on supervision of site activities, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise BTD/Busbar installation and overall project execution at the site.
- Review project documentation including drawings, BOQs, specifications, and other requirements to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project progress.
- Supervise site manpower, subcontractors, material handling, and installation activities to maintain workflow and quality.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, resource allocation, and cost control measures to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Ensure installation quality and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, snag rectification, and final handover processes.
- Prepare and submit regular project progress reports to management for review and decision-making.
- Enforce compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and quality standards on site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and site-related issues promptly to avoid delays and ensure timely project completion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Sc.) or Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical.
- 7 to 10 years of practical experience in managing electrical projects, specifically with BTD/Busbar Trunking/Busway systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Strong site management, coordination, and leadership skills to effectively lead teams and subcontractors.
- Good command of MS Office applications; familiarity with MS Project or Primavera is considered an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Multan and travel to various project locations as required.
