Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage operational duties aligned with the candidate’s certification, whether in deck or engineering capacities.
- Handle human resource matters effectively, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate between maritime operations and shore-based HR functions to maintain smooth organizational workflows.
- Provide leadership and guidance to teams, fostering a productive and compliant work environment.
- Ensure all activities meet safety standards and operational protocols relevant to the maritime industry or corporate HR practices.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Class I or II Certificate of Competency (Deck or Engineer).
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience serving as Master, Chief Engineer (1st Class COC), Chief Officer, or 2nd Engineer, or alternatively, at least 1 year of relevant shore-based experience.
OR
- A Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Public Administration (MPA), or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized institute.
- At least 5 years of experience managing HR matters within a reputable company.
- Candidates must be under the age of 50.
