Design and Proposal Engineer

Avanceon is seeking a Design & Proposal Engineer to join its Lahore office and contribute to innovative solutions within the industrial automation sector. Key Responsibilities

- Develop technically compliant and cost-effective proposals tailored for the Middle East region.
- Utilize expertise in automation and advanced SCADA systems, managing the entire proposal process including subcontractor and system integration.
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen to influence key stakeholders and collaborate effectively with international teams, driving customer-focused solutions.
- Support and enhance sales team effectiveness by providing technical assistance and developing integrated tools and systems.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks and alignment on project goals.
- Strategize during the pre-sales phase to identify and mitigate risks that could impact project execution.
- Ensure all business conduct complies with company policies, OEM ethical standards, and legal requirements.
- Manage international bids and proposals responsibly, minimizing risks associated with outgoing submissions.
- Propose turnkey industrial automation solutions in collaboration with global OEM partners.
- Track Capex programs proactively to ensure alignment with user specifications.
- Lead the development of detailed Capex and sales plans related to automation services.
- Analyze key accounts, develop market penetration strategies, and execute plans to increase market share.
- Diagnose and resolve customer issues by delivering validated, value-driven solutions.
- Understand contractual terms and conditions and negotiate effectively with customers.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in proposal development, industrial automation, power control, or related fields.
- Background in estimation within electrical, instrumentation, or process control disciplines.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated experience in customer interaction and relationship management.
- Strong business writing and communication skills.
- High level of commercial awareness and ability to manage stakeholder relationships with tact.
- Strong analytical skills to support informed decision-making and guide teams toward achieving business objectives.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer support and maximizing satisfaction.
