Designer

TecRec, based in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Designer specializing in 2D & 3D design and BIM to join their expanding team. This full-time role involves supporting international design and engineering projects by producing precise 2D drawings, 3D models, BIM outputs, and fabrication/technical drawings. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project and engineering teams to ensure designs meet both project and manufacturing requirements. Additionally, the role includes improving design workflows, modeling standards, and processes as the team grows. The position offers a competitive monthly salary range of PKR 100,000 to 150,000 and potential career progression to a Design Lead role.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop practical design solutions based on project requirements.
- Produce accurate 2D drawings and detailed 3D models.
- Prepare comprehensive technical and fabrication drawings.
- Ensure all designs comply with project specifications and manufacturing standards.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams, engineers, and international stakeholders.
- Support design revisions and facilitate client approval processes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance 3D modeling, BIM integration, and overall design workflows.
- Contribute actively to the development and refinement of design standards and systems.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in design and drafting.
- Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling techniques.
- Experience in creating technical and fabrication drawings.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into practical design solutions.
- Good command of English communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within teams.
- Proactive mindset with analytical skills and a willingness to improve existing processes.
