Key Responsibilities

- Understand product and software requirements thoroughly to contribute effectively to design and development.
- Develop software solutions by analyzing information needs, system flows, data usage, and work processes.
- Investigate and resolve problem areas following the software development life cycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis for system issues and identify opportunities to improve system performance and availability.
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into feasible software designs.
- Collaborate with functional teams and systems analysts to gather detailed software requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers to understand software capabilities and project expectations.
- Perform coding tasks ensuring optimal software and module development.
- Evaluate operational feasibility by reviewing analysis, problem definitions, requirements, and proposed software solutions.
- Develop and automate software validation processes by designing and executing test cases and scenarios.
- Modify software to fix bugs, adapt to new hardware, enhance performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- Analyze information to recommend installations or modifications of systems.
- Ensure code quality by maintaining error-free, bug-free, and test-failure-free software.
- Prepare detailed reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status.
- Adhere to project norms for code submission with clear descriptions and replication patterns.
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation and reports as required.
- Coordinate daily project status updates and document progress.
- Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace quality risks, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Capture client requirements and clarifications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Regularly obtain client feedback to facilitate smooth and timely project delivery.
- Engage in continuous learning and training to stay current with best practices and new programming languages.
- Consult with engineering teams to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications.
- Document and demonstrate solutions through flowcharts, diagrams, layouts, code comments, and clear coding practices.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, ensuring quality interactions via email, fault tracking, and calls.
- Respond promptly to customer requests, ensuring no complaints internally or externally.

Required Qualifications

- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in software design, development, testing, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance processes.
- Proficiency in coding, debugging, and software validation techniques.
- Experience in analyzing client requirements and converting them into technical designs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and project managers.
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Commitment to delivering error-free software and meeting project deadlines.
