We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer specializing in Cloud and Platform to join our team in Islamabad. This full-time, onsite role requires managing and automating cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and production environments to ensure reliability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have over three years of relevant professional experience and strong expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD, server management, and infrastructure automation. This position operates Sunday through Thursday, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, based at I-10/3, Islamabad, with a preference for candidates located in Islamabad or Rawalpindi.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure across Azure, GCP, AWS, and DigitalOcean platforms.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Administer Linux and Windows servers along with Docker-based containerized environments.
- Deploy and support Development, Staging, UAT, and Production environments.
- Oversee DNS, firewalls, load balancers, SSL/TLS certificates, IP management, networking, and access controls.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production issues promptly.
- Conduct incident investigations and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to enhance deployment processes, system reliability, security, and performance.
- Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks to improve efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud, Platform, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably Azure and GCP.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid experience with Docker containerization technology.
- Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure and networking components.
- In-depth knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, SSL/TLS, load balancing, and access management.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Proven experience in production troubleshooting, backups, disaster recovery, and ensuring high availability.
- Hands-on expertise in infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Knowledge of Ansible for configuration management.
- Familiarity with ARM templates or Bicep for Azure resource deployment.
- Additional experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Jenkins.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and hardening techniques.
- Skills in cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Exposure to enterprise or financial application infrastructure environments.
Additional Information
Candidates must have a minimum of three full years of relevant professional experience in DevOps, Cloud, Platform, or Infrastructure roles. Internships, training programs, academic or personal projects, and certifications will not be considered as part of the required professional experience.
This position is strictly onsite at our Islamabad office located in I-10/3. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Islamabad or Rawalpindi. The monthly salary range for this role is PKR 200,000 to PKR 300,000.
