As a Senior DevOps Process Specialist, you will play a critical role in optimizing software development and deployment processes. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, implementing solutions that improve efficiency and accelerate time-to-market. Your expertise in tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Docker, along with experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies, will be essential to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement DevOps processes and methodologies to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices into business strategies and applications.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps process specialists, fostering skill development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance DevOps capabilities.
- Lead and support team members, ensuring successful task completion and promoting a collaborative, productive work environment aligned with the company’s long-term vision.
Required Qualifications:
- 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in DevOps or related fields.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech), or MCA from a reputed university.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
- Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure technologies, including load balancers, auto-scaling, and containerization.
- Experience with automation scripting and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and foster a positive work culture.
