- Secure servers by managing access controls, permissions, and applying necessary updates and patches.
- Implement regular backup procedures and ensure quick data restoration capabilities when required.
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues before impacting users.
- Plan and enhance infrastructure scalability to support the growth of the SaaS product.
- Maintain developer tools and environments to facilitate smooth development workflows.
- Support reliable, repeatable, and secure deployment processes.
- Document infrastructure architecture, operational procedures, deployment workflows, and recovery plans.
- Work independently while clearly communicating technical issues to both technical and non-technical team members.

The initial phase of this role involves reviewing the existing infrastructure, understanding current development and deployment processes, identifying risks and gaps, and developing a comprehensive plan to improve the reliability, security, and scalability of the environments. The ultimate goal is to establish a dependable infrastructure foundation that enables safe releases, rapid incident recovery, and supports the SaaS product’s growth without unnecessary operational overhead.
