DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design and maintain a high-performing, stable, and resilient infrastructure. This role involves architecting the infrastructure and collaborating closely with teams managing other layers of the product. The ideal candidate is a strong team player dedicated to delivering excellence and ensuring the scalability, stability, and availability of our mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure scalability, stability, and availability of low-latency, mission-critical systems.
- Enhance and maintain the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions.
- Develop and manage Helm manifests for Kubernetes deployments.
- Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Set up and manage monitoring tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Oversee company-wide technical infrastructure across all environments.
- Manage VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls to ensure secure connectivity.
- Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
- Build secure and stable infrastructure aligned with best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize infrastructure costs.
- Provide 24x7 monitoring support, resolve infrastructure incidents, and escalate when necessary.
- Investigate incidents thoroughly and produce clear documentation and reports.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in DevOps roles supporting production applications.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience working with infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Proven ability to design and architect high-performing applications.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Proficiency with containerized environments, including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience building highly available infrastructure using AWS EKS.
- Solid knowledge of GitOps principles, particularly with ArgoCD.
- Expertise in securing production infrastructure and managing related security practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working in a fast-growing startup environment is highly desirable.
- AWS certifications are considered a plus.
