DevOps Engineer

Azimut, a sister company of Wavetec, is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join its team in Karachi. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment, supporting mission-critical applications and infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in automating and managing deployment pipelines, containerized environments, and cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI to streamline software delivery.
- Develop and maintain MERN stack containerized environments for scalable application deployment.
- Secure platforms hosting critical applications and systems, ensuring high availability and protection.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Document deployment procedures and processes clearly to support team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Proficiency with advanced cloud computing workloads, preferably on AWS.
- Experience configuring application and infrastructure monitoring, including setting up alerts and metrics.
- Solid understanding of HTTP, SSL, and CDN technologies.
- Knowledge of containerization concepts, including workload container deployment and auto-scaling, preferably using AWS ECS Fargate.
- Strong grasp of networking fundamentals such as VPC setup, subnets, and IP routing.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate processes effectively.
