DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a motivated professional with 1 to 2 years of experience to join our team in an in-person role. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of DevOps principles and hands-on experience working with Linux environments, version control systems, and containerization technologies. This position offers an opportunity to work with cloud platforms and manage application deployment in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 12 PM to 9 PM.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain Linux server environments to ensure stability and performance.
- Utilize Git and other version control tools to manage code repositories effectively.
- Implement and manage Docker containers for application deployment and scalability.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform to deploy and manage applications.
- Configure and optimize web servers, including Nginx, to support application hosting.
- Handle application deployment and environment configuration to meet operational requirements.
- Apply basic networking knowledge, including DNS management and SSL certificate installation.
- Monitor system performance, maintain logs, and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Work with relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL for data management and integration.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Linux system administration, version control, and containerization.
- Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and practices.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems, Git version control, and Docker container technology.

Work Schedule and Location

- Working hours are from 12 PM to 9 PM, Monday through Friday.
- This is an in-person position requiring attendance at the designated work location.
