The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure while supporting efficient CI/CD pipelines. This role demands a strong technical background, a collaborative approach, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across various environments.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline release cycles and enhance system reliability.
- Manage cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, cost efficiency, and resilience.
- Implement best practices for containerization, orchestration, and microservices architectures.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation, operational procedures, and processes.
- Enforce security, compliance, and governance standards consistently.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Solid experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system health.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional, collaborative teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in agile or transformation-driven environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices and DevSecOps principles.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Exposure to microservices and distributed systems architectures.
