DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at SSA Soft, you will be instrumental in designing, operating, and scaling the cloud infrastructure that supports our digital healthcare solutions for clients in the USA. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that our systems are reliable, secure, and high-performing across various environments and platforms. This role demands strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, along with a proactive and collaborative approach to drive innovation in healthcare technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing AWS services like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy, as well as third-party tools.
- Operate and optimize containerized and serverless workloads with services including Amazon EKS, ECS, Lambda, and Fargate.
- Monitor, log, and troubleshoot systems using Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and other observability tools to maintain high availability.
- Implement AWS security best practices, covering IAM, network security (VPCs, security groups), and secrets management.
- Automate infrastructure operations, scaling, and maintenance through scripting and AWS-native automation services.
- Lead incident response efforts and conduct post-incident reviews to continuously improve system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Manage JumpCloud-related tasks such as resolving user lockouts and addressing security issues on local machines.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Strong operational experience with AWS production workloads, including core services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using AWS-native tools or popular third-party platforms like GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), or ECS.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation and tooling purposes.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Effective English communication skills.
