Job Title: DevOps Engineer 📍 Johar Town, Lahore — Near Emporium Mall

Full-Time | Onsite

About the Role We’re looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to own our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and environments. You’ll manage our infrastructure as code with reusable Terraform modules, run clean DEV, STAGING, and PROD environments, and make sure releases are fast, repeatable, and low-risk. Key Responsibilities Build, maintain, and version reusable Terraform modules that serve as standardized building blocks for AWS infrastructure

Manage the live infrastructure configuration for each environment, using those modules to provision and manage real AWS resources

Provision and manage ECS / Fargate services for containerized applications

Set up and maintain AWS Batch for batch and compute-heavy jobs

Manage SQS queues and the background workers that consume them

Administer RDS / PostgreSQL, including backups, restores, performance tuning, and access control

Manage Redis for caching and queue workloads

Manage S3 buckets, permissions, lifecycle policies, and storage security

Design and maintain AWS networking: VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and related resources

Manage EC2 instances where needed

Build and improve CI/CD pipelines in CircleCI, including environment separation and secure secrets management

Keep DEV, STAGING, and PROD clean, consistent, and safely separated

Containerize applications with Docker and manage Python environments with conda

Configure process orchestration so services and workers restart and scale reliably

Monitor system health, logs, and uptime, and respond to incidents

Improve security, cost-efficiency, and reliability across the infrastructure

Document modules, environments, deployment processes, and runbooks

Work closely with developers to streamline builds, releases, and debugging

Requirements 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability role

Terraform: strong hands-on experience writing reusable modules and managing live, environment-specific configurations (state management, variables, outputs, workspaces or folder-based environments)

AWS: strong experience with ECS/Fargate, AWS Batch, SQS, RDS/PostgreSQL, Redis (ElastiCache), S3, EC2, and IAM

Networking: solid understanding of VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers, DNS, and SSL/TLS

CI/CD: practical experience building pipelines in CircleCI, including environment separation and secrets management

Multi-environment setup: proven experience running DEV, STAGING, and PROD cleanly with safe promotion between them

Docker: building, optimizing, and running containers in production conda: managing Python environments and dependencies

Background workers: running and monitoring queue-based workers (e.g., SQS, Celery, or similar)

Process orchestration: experience with ECS task definitions, Supervisor, systemd, or Docker Compose

Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills

Strong troubleshooting skills and a calm approach to production issues

Good written and spoken English for documentation and team communication

Nice to Have Experience with Terragrunt or similar tools for managing live Terraform configurations Kubernetes (EKS) experience Monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or Sentry

Python scripting experience An AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer)

Experience working with US or international teams
