We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), cloud engineering, or infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Tencent Cloud, or Azure, and possess a strong understanding of core cloud services. This role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable managing complex cloud environments, automating infrastructure, and supporting high-traffic streaming or OTT platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across web, mobile, backend, and data services to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery.
- Manage cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, with additional exposure to Azure environments as needed.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Containerize applications and manage orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices to maintain system health and performance.
- Support secure, reliable, and repeatable production deployments while adhering to operational best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Security, and Product teams to align infrastructure with business needs.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, performance issues, and infrastructure bottlenecks to maintain high availability.
- Support backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, scalability initiatives, and overall system availability.
- Continuously improve deployment speed, operational efficiency, and provide clear visibility into infrastructure costs.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud engineering, or infrastructure roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Tencent Cloud, or Azure, with a solid understanding of core cloud services.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalents.
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking concepts, and system monitoring.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Terraform.
- Understanding of security principles including Identity and Access Management (IAM), secrets management, and operational security best practices.
- Experience supporting high-traffic OTT or streaming platforms.
- Familiarity with autoscaling, Content Delivery Networks (CDN), caching mechanisms, databases, and distributed systems.
- Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform are highly desirable.
- Strong automation mindset combined with excellent incident response and root-cause analysis skills.
- Security-conscious approach to infrastructure management, with an emphasis on clear documentation and collaborative communication.
