Key Responsibilities

Lead DevOps Team and Drive Technical Solutions:
- Lead the DevOps team to enhance coordination among operations, development, and testing by automating and streamlining integration and deployment processes.
- Design and define the overall DevOps architecture and framework tailored to project or module delivery based on client requirements.
- Select and deploy appropriate DevOps tools and platforms aligned with customer needs.
- Develop a tool deployment model for validation, testing, and performance monitoring, ensuring resource allocation is optimized.
- Define and manage IT infrastructure requirements supporting the software code.
- Oversee the DevOps pipeline covering the entire application lifecycle, including planning, coding, building, testing, staging, release, configuration, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with the team to develop coding and scripting that integrates software releases with operating systems and production infrastructure, minimizing disruptions.
- Manage application onboarding and configuration from planning through to release.
- Integrate security measures throughout the DevOps lifecycle to mitigate cyber risks and maintain data privacy.

Customer Support and Service:
- Provide timely support for internal and external customer escalations across multiple platforms.
- Troubleshoot issues arising during the implementation of DevOps tools within projects or modules.
- Conduct root cause analysis of major incidents or critical issues that could impact project timelines, quality, or cost.
- Develop alternative solutions based on root cause findings to prevent recurrence.
- Follow established escalation processes when resolutions become complex or delayed.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and share best practices within the team to foster continuous improvement and motivation.

Team Management:
- Forecast talent requirements aligned with current and future business needs.
- Recruit and onboard the right resources to build a capable DevOps team.
- Train hiring managers and direct reports to make effective recruitment decisions.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Wipro’s onboarding and training standards to enhance team capability and effectiveness.
- Identify and nurture high-potential employees, supporting their career growth within the organization.
- Promote diversity in leadership roles.
- Set clear goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
- Address performance issues decisively, maintaining zero tolerance for willful underperformance.
- Encourage participation in organizational programs like Performance Nxt to maximize developmental opportunities.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, monitor satisfaction scores, and implement actions to improve team morale.
- Challenge the team with meaningful projects and recognize individual and team achievements.

Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps roles with a strong focus on continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing DevOps architectures and pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and platforms, including automation, scripting, and infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of security integration within DevOps processes to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer escalations and deliver effective support.
- Experience in team leadership, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Proficiency in Google Cloud DevOps technologies is mandatory.
