The DevSecOps Engineer role, suitable for candidates with 0 to 2 years of experience, involves supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. This full-time, on-site position based in Lahore requires close collaboration with development and operations teams to embed security controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle. Daily responsibilities include automating deployment processes, assisting with configuration management, participating in vulnerability assessments, and helping enforce security best practices across various environments. The engineer will also contribute to documentation efforts, adopt new tools, and work under senior team members’ guidance to continuously improve infrastructure reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and maintenance of secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security controls into the software delivery lifecycle.
- Assist in automating deployment and configuration management processes.
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and help implement remediation measures.
- Monitor system performance and respond to security incidents as needed.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems such as Git, and automation tools.

- Awareness of application and infrastructure security principles, including vulnerability scanning, secure configuration, and access control.
- Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Bash or Python for automation and tooling purposes.
