Digital Banking Officer - BI Development (OG-II/OG-I)

The National Bank of Pakistan is seeking a skilled Digital Banking Officer specializing in BI Development at the OG-II/OG-I level. This role involves supporting the bank’s digital transformation initiatives by developing and managing business intelligence solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to analyze data, generate insights, and deliver actionable reports that drive the bank’s digital banking strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports to support digital banking operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all BI platforms.
- Support the implementation of new digital banking products by providing data-driven insights.
- Monitor and troubleshoot BI systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Assist in training end-users on BI tools and reporting capabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and best practices to continuously enhance the bank’s BI capabilities.

Required Qualifications

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business intelligence development, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database management.
- Ability to work with large data sets and perform complex data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
