Digital Learning Associate

ITA is seeking a creative and motivated Course Intern to help transform its program content into engaging and accessible online courses. The ideal candidate will design interactive learning experiences that are easy to follow for participants with limited formal education or digital skills. This role involves developing course materials based on the curriculum and establishing an online Community of Practice for course alumni to continue learning collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end online courses, including defining learning objectives, structuring modules, scripting content, creating activities, and developing assessments. Collaborate closely with program teams, technology experts, subject-matter specialists, and partner organizations.
- Maintain alignment of all course modules with overall program goals and the practical needs of participants.
- Simplify technical content into plain, relatable language using local examples, stories, and scenarios appropriate for a general audience.
- Incorporate interactive elements such as quizzes, polls, short videos, infographics, scenarios, and gamified features like badges, progress trackers, and certificates.
- Apply engagement techniques including micro-learning, storytelling, case studies, and regular check-ins to encourage course completion.
- Ensure courses are mobile-friendly, optimized for low-bandwidth environments, and accessible, providing content in Urdu and English with audio or visual support as needed.
- Develop scalable course formats that are self-paced, reusable, easy to update, and adaptable to various programs and regions.
- Monitor learner progress, completion rates, and feedback, using data to continuously improve course quality.
- Design and implement an online Community of Practice for course graduates, including platform selection, community structure, activities such as discussions, webinars, peer learning, and moderation guidelines.
- Adhere to ITA’s safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), and Code of Conduct policies. Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience creating engaging digital learning content such as quizzes, short videos, stories, and visuals tailored to diverse audiences.
- Ability to develop systems for tracking learner progress, completion, and feedback, and to leverage insights for course enhancement.
- Proven skills in designing and managing online communities, including setting up platforms, structuring activities, and moderating discussions.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners to achieve shared goals.
- Commitment to following organizational policies related to safeguarding, PSEA, and professional conduct.

Compensation and Work Location:
The position offers a monthly stipend ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000. This is an in-person role requiring attendance at the designated work location.
