Diploma Associate Engineer – EV Chargers

Located in Karachi with occasional field travel, this full-time, on-site position seeks a hands-on DAE Associate Engineer to contribute to the assembly, wiring, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of AC EV chargers. The role is ideal for candidates passionate about electric vehicle charging and clean energy technologies, offering practical experience in a dynamic environment focused on sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble EV chargers, including internal wiring and PCB soldering.
- Install electrical components such as MCBs, RCCBs, surge protectors, contactors, and relays.
- Perform electrical testing, quality assurance, and functional testing to ensure product reliability.
- Install and commission EV chargers at customer locations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to wiring, electrical circuits, PCBs, and display units.
- Replace defective components and conduct routine maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of testing, assembly, and installation activities.
- Assist senior engineers in product improvements and upgrades.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electronics or Mechatronics.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant hands-on experience; fresh candidates with strong practical skills are also encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of AC electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in PCB soldering, wiring, electrical panel assembly, and working with circuit breakers.
- Ability to interpret basic wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Comfortable working in both workshop and field environments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with EV chargers, solar inverters, UPS systems, or industrial electrical panels is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of networking and IoT devices is a plus.
- Possession of a motorcycle or willingness to travel within Karachi for field assignments.
