Director Admin & Support

Air University is seeking a seasoned professional to join its Main Campus in Islamabad as a senior leader within the Administration & Support department. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing large administrative teams and possess strong expertise in procurement, infrastructure management, and operational oversight. This role demands a strategic thinker with a solid background in energy conservation, security management, and public sector development projects. Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership and overall management of a large administrative workforce, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes in full compliance with PPRA rules, including tendering, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Plan and supervise repair, maintenance, and infrastructure management activities to maintain campus facilities.
- Conduct demand forecasting and manage supply chain operations to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Implement energy conservation initiatives and sustainable energy management practices across the campus.
- Manage security operations and oversee transport services to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Apply a sound understanding of civil engineering principles, construction management, budgeting, and regulatory frameworks relevant to public sector development programs.

Required Qualifications

- MBA, MSc, or an equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized university or a reputable foreign institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic leadership, procurement management, infrastructure oversight, and security operations.
- Strong knowledge of public sector regulatory requirements and project management related to civil engineering and construction.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
