We are seeking a highly experienced Director Finance to lead the Finance & Accounts function within a manufacturing organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing sector, demonstrating expertise in financial management, budgeting, costing, taxation, reporting, cash flow, and working capital management. This role requires a strategic leader capable of driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements while supporting overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the entire Finance & Accounts function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial operations.
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to support organizational goals.
- Supervise manufacturing costing, cost control measures, and profitability analysis to optimize financial outcomes.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial health of the organization.
- Ensure compliance with taxation laws, coordinate audits, and maintain strong financial controls.
- Develop and implement robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team to enhance their performance and capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 13 to 15 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, with a strong emphasis on the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record in senior-level financial management roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, costing, taxation, audit, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of cash flow management, working capital optimization, and financial controls.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Candidates with CFO-level experience in the manufacturing industry are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- MBA, B.Com, or other bachelor’s degrees are not required; the CA qualification is essential.
