Director Fundraising

Teach the World Foundation (TTWF) is seeking a seasoned and strategic Fundraising Director to establish and lead its fundraising operations in Pakistan. This role involves building the fundraising department from the ground up, developing comprehensive strategies, and driving resource mobilization efforts to support the organization’s mission. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fundraising, donor relationship management, and team leadership, with a strong understanding of the local philanthropic landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement TTWF’s fundraising strategy for Pakistan, establishing the fundraising function and enhancing its capabilities.
- Lead outreach and manage relationships with diverse donor segments, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), institutional donors, and other funding sources.
- Drive fundraising targets and ensure effective use of the CRM system to manage donor pipelines, relationships, and reporting processes.
- Monitor fundraising performance, track progress against goals, and provide regular insights and reports to senior leadership.
- Plan and oversee fundraising events, celebrity outreach programs, and an Ambassador Program to increase TTWF’s visibility and expand its donor network.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of fundraising professionals, ensuring efficient allocation and management of donor accounts.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with key donors, corporate partners, institutions, and HNWIs to foster long-term engagement.
- Identify new fundraising opportunities and devise strategies to enhance donor engagement and increase revenue streams.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fundraising, Communications, Development Studies, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in fundraising, business development, donor relations, corporate partnerships, or related fields.
- Proven track record in developing and executing fundraising strategies and managing donor relationships effectively.
- Deep understanding of CSR, HNWI, and institutional fundraising landscapes within Pakistan.
- Experience in managing and mentoring teams to achieve fundraising objectives.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and fundraising data management/reporting is advantageous.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Karachi, Pakistan.
