The Ministry of IT & Telecommunication, Pakistan, is seeking a highly qualified professional for the position of Director General (Telecom Wireless) MP-II Scale. Key Responsibilities

- Ensure the enforcement of telecom laws and regulations, addressing any violations or disputes within the wireless sector.
- Represent the Ministry in various forums, conferences, and negotiations related to wireless telecommunications.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for senior government officials and policymakers.
- Manage and mentor a team of professionals within the wireless telecom division to achieve organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, particularly in wireless technologies and regulatory affairs.
- Proven leadership experience at a senior management level, preferably within government or regulatory bodies.
- Strong understanding of wireless spectrum management, telecom policy formulation, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with national and international telecom regulations and frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Advanced degrees such as a Master’s or higher in Telecommunications, Public Policy, or Business Administration will be considered an advantage.
