KPMG Middle East is seeking an experienced Head of Offshoring – Director to lead and manage its offshoring hubs across the region. This senior leadership role is based remotely in Pakistan and involves strategic oversight of the Audit Offshoring Hubs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and scalable audit support services to engagement teams while driving operational excellence and fostering talent development. This position requires a strong focus on audit quality, compliance, and stakeholder management, alongside championing technology adoption and governance.
The Head of Offshoring will also oversee designated Risk & Independence (RI) activities, collaborating closely with the firm’s RI leadership to ensure adherence to independence, ethics, risk management, and quality standards. Promoting a culture of integrity, professional excellence, and continuous improvement within the offshore operations is a key aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall strategy, performance, and growth of the Audit Offshoring Hub to meet business objectives.
- Ensure the delivery of audit support services that consistently meet or exceed agreed service levels and quality standards.
- Build, develop, and retain a high-performing workforce by fostering a supportive and engaging work environment.
- Drive operational efficiency through process standardization, innovation, and adoption of relevant technologies.
- Maintain robust governance frameworks, quality management systems, and compliance processes to mitigate risks.
- Oversee designated Risk & Independence responsibilities, supporting the implementation and adherence to RI policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary liaison for senior stakeholders and member firms concerning offshore operations, ensuring transparent communication and alignment.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in managing offshoring or shared service centers, preferably within audit or professional services environments.
- Strong understanding of audit processes, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive operational excellence and business growth.
- Experience in managing Risk & Independence functions or similar governance roles.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to lead diverse teams remotely and foster a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
