This full-time position based in Pakistan operates within US Central Time hours (8 am–6 pm, Monday through Saturday) and reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The role is responsible for managing the technical lifecycle of Binyod’s Division 27 and 28 solutions within the Technology Solutions Center (TSC). The successful candidate will ensure that all TSC outputs are technically accurate, constructible, profitable, standardized, well-documented, and fully supportable. This leadership role includes oversight of both direct reports, such as Solutions Engineer Specialty Leads and the TSC Operations & Support Coordinator, as well as indirect reports like the Technology Service Desk Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations: Manage TSC staffing, workload distribution, and priority setting. Lead the weekly Production Meeting and prepare comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports. Facilitate quarterly performance and process reviews.
- Technical Governance: Maintain oversight of specialty technical standards, engineering governance protocols, KitCheck processes, approval gates, risk assessments, and quality assurance/commissioning standards.
- Commercial Interface: Collaborate closely with the Technology Estimator on project estimates, manage manufacturer technology strategies, enforce deal-registration governance, and conduct weekly pipeline reviews to support capacity planning.
- Delivery & Service: Establish technical handoff standards, provide implementation support, coordinate responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and substitution requests, and act as the final technical escalation point for the Service Desk.
- Improvement: Lead lessons-learned initiatives and oversee specialty training and certification programs to continuously enhance team capabilities.
Authority & Boundaries
- The role has the authority to hold incomplete proposals, reject unapproved substitutions, approve or return KitChecks, and set preferred products and platforms with quarterly reviews.
- This position does not own responsibilities related to sales quotas, field manpower, project schedules, purchasing, warehouse operations, or day-to-day project management.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A degree in electrical, electronics, telecom engineering, information technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: A minimum of five years working with Division 27/28 or ICT systems integration, along with at least five years of experience leading engineers or pre-sales teams. Experience in K-12 education, E-rate programs, public-sector bids, and managing remote or onsite teams is preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in reading construction drawings and CSI Division 27/28 specifications, reviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and labor estimates, and writing clear technical documentation in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as BICSI RCDD, PMP, or manufacturer design certifications in network, audiovisual, or security systems are highly desirable.
- Experience with manufacturer partner programs and deal registration processes is advantageous.
