Binyod is seeking an experienced Director of Technology Solutions to lead its Technology Solutions Center (TSC) based in Lahore. This full-time, onsite role involves overseeing the technical lifecycle of Division 27 (Communications) and Division 28 (Electronic Safety and Security) solutions. The successful candidate will ensure that all solutions are technically accurate, constructible, commercially viable, standardized, well-documented, and supportable throughout their lifecycle. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, commercial insight, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Commercial, Delivery, and Service teams.
Key Responsibilities
Department Leadership and Operations: Manage TSC staffing, workload distribution, and departmental priorities. Lead weekly TSC Production Meetings, prepare monthly Director reports, and conduct quarterly performance and operational reviews.
Technical Governance and Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain S1–S4 technical standards and solution engineering governance. Oversee the KitCheck process, technical approval gates, and risk assessments. Maintain TSC documentation, technical quality assurance, and commissioning standards to ensure all deliverables meet quality and compliance requirements.
Commercial Coordination: Oversee estimating governance in collaboration with the Technology Estimator. Guide manufacturer technology strategy and deal-registration governance. Lead weekly Commercial/TSC pipeline reviews to align technical resources with business opportunities and capacity.
Delivery and Implementation Support: Define technical handoff standards between TSC and Delivery teams. Provide engineering support during project implementation. Coordinate weekly TSC/Delivery reviews addressing project awards, RFIs, substitutions, and commissioning. Ensure technical requirements are clearly communicated and maintained throughout delivery.
Service and Technical Escalation: Act as the final technical escalation point for the Service Desk. Support resolution of complex technical issues and recurring service challenges.
Continuous Improvement and Team Development: Establish a lessons-learned process using feedback from Delivery and Service teams. Develop specialty training plans and certification pathways for the TSC team. Promote continuous improvement in technical standards, processes, and solution quality.
The Director holds decision-making authority to hold proposals if technical packages are incomplete, reject unapproved technical substitutions, approve or return KitChecks based on technical requirements, and define preferred products and technology platforms with quarterly reviews. This role does not directly manage sales quotas, field manpower, project schedules, purchasing, warehouse operations, or daily project management.
Required Qualifications
Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years working with Division 27/28 systems or ICT systems integration. At least 5 years leading engineers, technical teams, or pre-sales engineering teams.
Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and CSI Division 27/28 specifications. Experienced in reviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs), labor requirements, and technical solution packages. Strong technical documentation and written communication skills in English. Knowledgeable in technical quality assurance, solution engineering, and implementation requirements.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with K–12 projects, E-rate programs, or public-sector bids is highly desirable. Familiarity managing or collaborating with offshore technical teams is a plus. Certifications such as BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), Project Management Professional (PMP), and manufacturer design certifications in networking, audiovisual (AV), or security systems are advantageous. Understanding manufacturer partner programs and deal-registration processes is preferred.

They should be confident in making technical decisions, managing risks, improving processes, and ensuring solutions meet both technical and business objectives.
