Discord Community Manager – US Electronics Buying Group (Night Shift)

Planet Cellular, a Miami-based wholesale distributor of mobile phones and electronics with over 24 years of experience, is launching an online buying group community on Discord for US customers. We are seeking a dedicated Discord Community Manager to build and manage this new community. This full-time, on-site position is based in Lahore, Pakistan, and requires working the night shift aligned with US Eastern business hours (5:00 PM – 3:00 AM Pakistan Time). The role involves engaging with US members who buy electronics from major retailers and sell them to us, providing daily support, posting deals, and growing the community from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage the Discord server, including channels, roles, permissions, and bots such as Carl-bot, MEE6, and Ticket Tool.
- Post daily deals and buy prices provided by the Miami pricing team accurately and on time.
- Respond promptly and professionally to member questions and support tickets.
- Track members’ shipments and payment statuses, escalating any issues to the US team.
- Monitor for suspicious accounts or activities and report potential fraud immediately.
- Drive community growth through referral programs, promotions, and partnerships with other Discord servers and creators.
- Train and supervise junior moderators as the community expands.
- Prepare and send weekly reports detailing member growth, activity, orders, and complaints.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing online communities on platforms such as Discord or Telegram.
- Excellent written English skills, with the ability to communicate naturally and professionally with US-based members.
- Practical experience with Discord server setup, including managing bots, roles, and permissions.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Ability to work consistently during night shifts on-site in Lahore.
- Calm, patient, and organized approach to handling complaints and resolving issues.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with US deal communities, reselling, buying groups, or credit card rewards communities is highly desirable.
- Background in e-commerce, customer support, or call center roles serving US customers is a plus.
- Spanish language skills are an advantage.

We offer a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 150,000 to 220,000, plus a performance-based bonus tied to community growth.
