We are looking for a committed and experienced Dispatch Manager to oversee our daily delivery operations. The successful candidate will manage delivery drivers, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and ensure timely payment collection and recovery. This role requires excellent organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to quickly resolve issues to maintain efficient and smooth delivery services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily dispatch operations and manage coordination with delivery drivers.
- Provide drivers with clear instructions regarding deliveries, payment methods, and collection procedures.
- Ensure payments are collected from customers and actively follow up on any outstanding or overdue payments in collaboration with the Accounts department.
- Handle customer inquiries via the Vonage line and resolve delivery-related issues promptly.
- Coordinate with Sales and Accounts teams on customer concerns, pricing, and payment matters.
- Monitor deliveries by verifying customer signatures and delivery photographs to maintain service accuracy.
- Manage driver-related issues to ensure smooth and timely delivery operations.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and MOT schedules, issuing reminders at 21, 14, and 3 days prior to expiry.
- Coordinate vehicle repairs to keep all vans operational and reliable.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, payments, vehicle maintenance, and follow-up actions to support operational transparency.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in dispatch, logistics, fleet management, or delivery operations.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to follow up effectively.
- Competence in managing drivers, resolving customer issues, and overseeing payment recovery processes.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Work Schedule and Location
- Working Days: 6 days per week
- Working Hours: 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM
- Location: Gulberg III, Lahore
- Work Type: In-person
Compensation
- Monthly Salary Range: Rs80,000 to Rs100,000
