Dispatch Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Dispatch Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will manage delivery schedules, routes, and driver assignments while maintaining accurate records and collaborating closely with warehouse, logistics, sales, and customer service teams. This role requires strong leadership to monitor driver performance, resolve operational issues, and uphold company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily dispatch activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Assign delivery schedules, routes, and tasks to drivers and dispatch staff effectively.
- Monitor deliveries to guarantee timely and accurate dispatch of shipments.
- Maintain comprehensive dispatch records, delivery reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, sales, and customer service teams to streamline processes.
- Track shipments and address any delivery delays or operational challenges promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and delivery standards.
- Manage driver attendance, performance evaluations, and work schedules.
- Respond to customer and internal team inquiries related to deliveries.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports for management review.
- Monitor vehicle utilization to ensure proper use of company resources.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance overall efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification is preferred.
- Proven experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Previous supervisory or team management experience is advantageous.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and dispatch management systems.
