We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team in Karachi, located at PECHS Block 6 (Fortune Tower). This full-time position operates on a night shift schedule from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, six days a week, and requires on-site attendance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and plays a crucial role in coordinating daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch drivers and technicians to appropriate locations based on operational needs.
- Monitor routes continuously and adjust schedules to maximize efficiency and reduce delays.
- Communicate timely updates, instructions, and support to field teams to maintain seamless coordination.
- Track job progress closely and ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
- Handle incoming calls, service requests, and customer inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date dispatch records, logs, and reports for operational transparency.
- Collaborate with management to resolve any delays, emergencies, or operational challenges.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies and safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatching, fleet management, or vendor management roles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook, along with familiarity with dispatch tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Ability to make quick decisions and maintain accuracy in a dynamic work environment.
