Dispatcher

Elite London Rides LTD is seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to join its team in Rawalpindi. This full-time, on-site role involves managing daily ride requests, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations by handling communications with both drivers and customers, updating trip details, resolving scheduling conflicts, and responding promptly to urgent changes. The ideal candidate will be organized, calm under pressure, and committed to delivering a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and assign daily ride requests to drivers, ensuring efficient scheduling and route planning.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers and customers to provide updates, instructions, and support.
- Monitor ongoing trips and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate traffic conditions, delays, or last-minute changes.
- Maintain accurate records of rides, schedules, and driver assignments using dispatch or booking software.
- Collaborate closely with operations and customer support teams to resolve issues and maintain seamless service delivery.
- Handle urgent requests and unexpected disruptions calmly and effectively, especially during peak hours.
- Ensure punctuality and reliability in all dispatch activities, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of providing clear instructions and managing inquiries professionally.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with experience handling multiple bookings and prioritizing tasks under pressure.
- Proficiency in using computers, dispatch or scheduling software, spreadsheets, messaging tools, and phone systems.
- Good knowledge of local routes and geography in and around Rawalpindi, with the ability to plan efficient routes and adapt to changing conditions.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining logs, ride records, and schedules.
- Ability to work fixed or rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends as operational needs dictate.
- Minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Previous experience in dispatching, transportation coordination, or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
