DM Audit Analytics & Automation

Based in Islamabad, this role focuses on leading the automation and digital transformation of the internal audit function within the telecom sector. The successful candidate will drive continuous auditing frameworks across Fixed Local Loop (FLL), Long Distance International (LDI), and wholesale operations. This position requires expertise in advanced data analytics to proactively identify risks, control weaknesses, and inefficiencies, while developing tools for real-time monitoring and compliance testing. The role also involves mentoring audit teams and preparing executive-level presentations to demonstrate audit insights and the return on investment from automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead internal audit automation projects and implement continuous auditing frameworks across FLL, LDI, and wholesale operations.
- Conduct advanced data analytics to identify risks, control weaknesses, and process inefficiencies proactively.
- Develop and deploy internal audit automation tools for real-time monitoring, exception reporting, and compliance testing.
- Spearhead the digital transformation of the internal audit function by integrating advanced analytics and process automation.
- Design and execute data-driven audit programs that provide foresight on emerging risks and business trends.
- Build internal audit analytics capabilities, including data pipelines, dashboards, and predictive risk models.
- Manage emerging audit engagements requiring expertise in automation and advanced analytics.
- Mentor audit team members on analytics tools, automation best practices, and digital audit methodologies.
- Prepare executive presentations showcasing audit insights, automation ROI, and progress in digital transformation.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Data Analytics.
- Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably within the telecom or ISP industry.
- Proven track record in telecom internal audit covering FLL, LDI, and wholesale operations, with hands-on experience in digital transformation projects.

Skills and Expertise

- Advanced proficiency in internal audit automation tools including ACL, IDEA, Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx.
- Strong expertise in SAP, ERP data extraction, and telecom billing systems.
- Ability to develop visualizations and dashboards for effective reporting.
- Experience in project management related to digital transformation initiatives.
- Strategic thinker capable of providing audit foresight and business insights.
