We are seeking a full-time, on-site Dotnet Developer based in Rawalpindi. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web and enterprise applications using .NET technologies. This role requires adherence to best practices in software engineering and object-oriented programming. Daily tasks include implementing new features, resolving bugs, optimizing application performance, and participating in code reviews to maintain high quality and code maintainability. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and support deployment and ongoing maintenance. Additionally, the role involves contributing to documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web and enterprise applications using .NET technologies.
- Implement new features and fix bugs to enhance application functionality and performance.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support deployment activities and provide ongoing maintenance for applications.
- Contribute to documentation and testing efforts to ensure robust software delivery.
- Continuously improve development processes and adhere to software engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Strong programming fundamentals, including proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Solid software engineering skills with hands-on experience in .NET Core development.
- Experience in web application development using ASP.NET MVC and related .NET web frameworks.
- Effective problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams on-site.
- Relevant experience with databases like SQL Server or similar, and RESTful APIs is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
