Draftman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP & Civil Draftsman with strong technical expertise in preparing detailed drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), and Civil works. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, capable of interpreting engineering drawings, and able to coordinate effectively with engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D shop drawings, working drawings, and construction drawings for both Civil and MEP disciplines.
- Develop and revise architectural, structural, and civil drawings as per project requirements.
- Create MEP drawings including HVAC, electrical, lighting, power, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and related services.
- Produce layouts, sections, elevations, details, and installation drawings.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify potential clashes or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and site engineering teams to ensure alignment.
- Prepare As-Built Drawings reflecting actual site conditions.
- Update drawings based on site instructions, consultant feedback, and design modifications.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and approved standards.
- Maintain proper documentation, including drawing registers, revisions, and submission records.
- Assist engineers and project managers in resolving technical drawing issues.
- Guarantee accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all assigned drawings.

Required Qualifications:
- Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; relevant technical qualifications will also be considered.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Civil and MEP drafting.
- Strong command of AutoCAD 2D is mandatory.
- Practical experience in preparing both Civil and MEP shop drawings.
- Good understanding of HVAC, electrical layouts, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and civil construction drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of construction methods, technical detailing, and drawing standards.
- Experience in preparing As-Built Drawings and coordinating with site teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit MEP, Revit Architecture, or other relevant drafting software is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective time management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple drawing assignments simultaneously.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
The ideal candidate is a technically strong professional with excellent command over both Civil and MEP drafting, practical site knowledge, and the ability to produce accurate drawings with minimal supervision. This is a full-time position based in Lahore, Pakistan, offering a monthly salary range of Rs80,000 to Rs100,000. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Lahore prior to starting work. The role requires in-person attendance at the work location.
