Draftsman / AutoCAD Technician

U.C.C (PRIVATE) LIMITED is seeking a skilled Draftsman / AutoCAD Technician to join their team at the Head Office located in I-11/3, Islamabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing precise and well-coordinated architectural drawings based on approved sketches, design data, site measurements, and redlines. Working closely with the Project Architect or Technical Lead, you will ensure that all drawings adhere to company standards and that revisions are properly documented and traceable. The company offers advanced Revit training to support your growth into a BIM-capable technician.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, schedules, details, and drawing layouts from approved design information.
- Convert hand sketches, markups, and site survey data into clear and accurate CAD drawings.
- Extract and prepare AutoCAD plans, sections, and elevations from Revit models, and update drawings in Revit as needed.
- Revise drawings based on documented comments while maintaining revision clouds, dates, drawing numbers, and issue status.
- Adhere to company CAD standards including layers, lineweights, dimensions, scales, title blocks, and sheet numbering.
- Coordinate drawing interfaces among architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, identifying and flagging any discrepancies for review.
- Verify dimensions, annotations, references, and plotting output before submitting drawings for review.
- Deliver CAD files and plotted PDFs following the required drawing register, file formats, naming conventions, backup, and transmittal procedures.
- Support as-built documentation by incorporating verified site markups and records.
- Promptly report missing information, clashes, site discrepancies, and unrealistic deadlines to the relevant parties.

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant drafting experience is mandatory; fresh graduates will not be considered.
- Educational background should include DAE Architecture, DAE Civil, a diploma in architectural technology, BSc in Architecture, or an equivalent technical qualification related to the field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with a strong understanding of architectural drawing conventions.
- Ability to accurately interpret plans, sections, elevations, dimensions, and technical details.
- High attention to detail with a focus on drawing accuracy, CAD standards, and revision control.
- Demonstrated ability to meet agreed deadlines consistently.
