Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our team, responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings and supporting the design and construction process. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects and site teams to produce accurate 2D plans, elevations, sections, and layouts based on sketches and design briefs. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage drawing standards and documentation efficiently. The position is full-time and involves on-site work at designated locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and layouts derived from architect’s sketches and design briefs.
- Produce and revise working/construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings as required.
- Maintain drawing standards, layer conventions, and ensure proper file and version organization.
- Coordinate with architects to incorporate design revisions promptly and accurately.
- Provide accurate base drawings to support the 3D/rendering team for modeling purposes.
- Conduct or assist with site measurement and verification when necessary.
- Keep an organized archive of drawing revisions and all project documentation for easy reference.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 4 years of drafting experience, preferably within architecture, real estate, or construction sectors.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, with essential skills in 2D drafting; familiarity with 3D drafting is preferred.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications effectively.
- Good communication skills to facilitate coordination with architects, site teams, and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Working knowledge of 3D software such as SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools is an advantage. Candidates capable of supporting basic 3D modeling alongside drafting will be preferred.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs150,000.
- The role requires willingness to travel to project sites located in DHA Phase 8 and Korangi areas.
- Experience working on high-rise, commercial, and residential building projects is highly desirable.
