E-commerce & Jewellery Content Executive

Maharanis Artificial Jewelry, a luxury brand known for its elegant and high-quality jewellery pieces, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual to enhance its online product catalogue, jewellery photography, and digital presence. This home-based role involves working from your own studio with occasional visits to the shop for product collection and return. The position offers a basic monthly salary of Rs. 20,000 plus a performance bonus of up to Rs. 5,000, with a maximum monthly compensation of Rs. 25,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Professionally photograph jewellery for the website and social media, ensuring clean, attractive images with appropriate lighting, backgrounds, and angles. Capture intricate product details such as stones, colours, designs, and finishing while maintaining consistency in visual presentation.

- Utilize AI tools and photo-editing software to enhance product images, creating premium visuals that accurately represent the jewellery without misleading alterations.

- Upload and maintain product listings on the website, including product names, descriptions, prices, photographs, and other relevant details. Ensure listings are accurate, complete, and professionally presented, regularly checking for missing information or errors.

- Manage inventory and POS systems by entering and updating product information such as names, prices, SKUs, and stock levels. Report any discrepancies or inventory-related issues promptly.

- Write clear, attractive product descriptions aligned with the brand’s luxury image. Prepare SEO-friendly product titles, meta titles, meta descriptions, and add relevant image alt text and keywords to improve search engine visibility.

- Create engaging social media content, including product images and creative visuals for Instagram posts, Stories, and Reels. Develop fresh ideas, resize and edit content for different formats, and maintain a consistent brand aesthetic.

- Handle jewellery products responsibly by collecting items from the shop as needed for photography and returning them on schedule. Maintain accurate records of all items handled and report any issues immediately. Organize product photographs and files using assigned product names or SKUs.

Required Qualifications

- Strong photography skills with a good eye for visual composition.

- Proficiency in photo-editing software and willingness to work with AI creative tools.

- Basic understanding of e-commerce product listings and SEO principles.

- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate reliably.

- Responsible handling of valuable jewellery items.

Experience in jewellery photography, managing e-commerce websites, inventory or POS systems, and social media content creation, especially Instagram, will be considered an advantage.

Selection Process

Candidates will be evaluated primarily through practical tests rather than formal interviews. The initial test requires photographing a jewellery piece from the candidate’s own collection and submitting:

1. An original photograph.

2. A professionally edited product image suitable for e-commerce.

3. An optional creative version for Instagram demonstrating AI editing or creative skills.

Submissions will be assessed based on lighting, sharpness, background, composition, colour accuracy, attention to detail, and overall presentation. Successful candidates may be invited for a second test using a Maharanis product, followed by further discussions about the role and compensation.
