eCommerce Content Writer for Laboratory Products - TJ / 1898860

Texas Lab Technologies is seeking a full-time eCommerce Content Writer specializing in laboratory products to join their remote team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing product content for an extensive range of scientific and laboratory equipment on their eCommerce platform. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to handle large volumes of technical information, and expertise in producing clear, accurate, and persuasive product listings that enhance customer experience and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

- Create clear, accurate, and professional product descriptions tailored to laboratory and scientific equipment.
- Upload, edit, and maintain product listings using the company’s Content Management System (CMS).
- Translate technical specifications and manufacturer data into well-structured, customer-friendly content.
- Ensure product titles, descriptions, specifications, features, images, categories, and metadata are complete, consistent, and aligned with brand standards.
- Organize products into appropriate categories and subcategories to improve site navigation and user experience.
- Optimize product content for SEO by incorporating relevant keywords, metadata, and on-page elements to boost search visibility.
- Continuously review and update existing listings to maintain accuracy, clarity, and conversion effectiveness.
- Identify and correct missing, duplicated, or outdated product information.
- Collaborate closely with product management, eCommerce, SEO, and marketing teams to keep product information accurate and competitive.
- Manage large volumes of product data efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
- Monitor content performance metrics and recommend improvements to increase engagement and sales conversions.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in eCommerce content writing, product listing, or product content management.
- Proven expertise working with CMS and eCommerce platforms, managing extensive product catalogs.
- Excellent command of written English, including grammar, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately interpret and present technical specifications.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, metadata, product categorization, and on-page optimization.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a high volume of product listings.
- Experience with laboratory, scientific, medical, industrial, or other technical products is highly desirable.
