We are seeking an experienced eClinicalWorks (eCW) Application & Configuration Specialist to oversee and support the eCW system across our healthcare organization, which includes over 14 locations such as primary care, specialty clinics, laboratories, and hospital services. The specialist will be responsible for configuring eCW, managing user access and workflows, handling reporting permissions, troubleshooting issues, providing internal training, and supporting the integration of new locations and departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding process for new providers, departments, and locations within the eCW system.
- Coordinate data migration, interface setups, billing processes, enrollment, and workflow configurations to ensure seamless system integration.
- Manage eCW configurations including user logins, roles, access rights, and permissions to maintain system security and efficiency.
- Configure and maintain workflows tailored for clinics, labs, hospitals, billing, and other departments to optimize operational processes.
- Oversee reporting rights and user access to ensure appropriate data availability and compliance.
- Research and implement new functionalities and system updates within eCW to enhance performance and user experience.
- Troubleshoot configuration, workflow, and access-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Provide training to users and deliver ongoing support to maximize effective use of eCW.
- Collaborate with IT, clinical, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), and operational teams to identify and implement workflow improvements.
- Act as a liaison with eCW vendor support for escalated issues requiring external assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with eClinicalWorks or similar EMR/EHR systems.
- Strong expertise in EMR configuration, administration, and workflow setup.
- Proven experience managing user permissions and reporting access within healthcare software systems.
- Solid understanding of healthcare workflows, preferably within the US healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with medical terminology to effectively communicate and configure clinical workflows.
- Knowledge of Managed Care Principles is an advantage.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
This is a full-time, in-person position offering a monthly salary range of Rs70,000 to Rs100,000. The role demands a proactive individual capable of supporting a complex healthcare IT environment and contributing to continuous system improvements.
